An initiative to develop and steward affordable housing and resources for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities,
Residential Supported Living
With a goal to ensure a 100% success rate for VCS clients living within their own homes, VCS offers services that help maximize health, safety, and independence through a system of personalized goal setting, caregiving, and skill development.
Employment Services
Through supportive mentoring and guidance, on-the-job training, and community networking, VCS clients are afforded life-changing opportunities to become active members of their community through employment and volunteer opportunities.
Village Experience Learning Center
Through one-on-one and small group trainings, VELC provides opportunities that prepare VCS clients in work readiness, independent living, and hard and soft job skills. Each learning opportunity is individualized and based on personal assessments and goals.
Voices of the Village
Our music and arts program capitalizes upon many beneficial effects that sensory stimulation has on individuals with disabilities. Our clients enjoy improved physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being as well as inter-personal interactions with others.
