For more than 60 years, Village Community Services (VCS) has been opening doors for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities – creating opportunities for independence, connection, and a life filled with purpose.
Every day, we see what happens when those doors open.
A resident preparing their first meal independently with pride.
An individual earning their first paycheck and building confidence in the workplace.
A room filled with music, laughter, and belonging through our Voices of the Village program.
These moments don’t happen by accident – they happen because of a community that shows up.
This September, we invite you to be part of that impact by sponsoring our 2026 fundraiser, themed “Opening Doors,” held at Glen Eagle Golf Course in Arlington.
This event will bring together community leaders, businesses, and families for an evening of connection, storytelling, and giving – all in support of the programs and services that help individuals thrive at home, at work, and in our community.
The evening will include, among other things, a robust silent auction and our signature “Wishing Grove” activity, an interactive giving experience designed to directly support VCS programs and the individuals we serve.
Your sponsorship does more than support an event – it helps open doors to housing, employment, education, and independence for the people who rely on VCS every day.

Open Doors for Adults with Disabilities
Your sponsorship helps Village Community Services create opportunities for independence, connection, employment, housing, and belonging for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout our community. All sponsors will receive recognition through event signage, printed materials, and pre-event marketing efforts.
$10,000 – GRAND ENTRANCE SPONSOR
As a Grand Entrance Sponsor, your leadership and commitment to Village Community Services will be recognized throughout the entire Opening Doors experience. From the moment guests arrive, your company will be prominently featured as a premier supporter of opportunity, independence, and belonging for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition to premium event recognition and signage, you will serve as the featured sponsor of the evening’s Wishing Grove. This sponsorship level also includes the opportunity to welcome guests with a brief five-minute address during the program.
$5,000 – KEYHOLDER SPONSOR
Keyholder Sponsors help create an engaging and memorable experience for guests throughout the evening. Sponsors at this level will have the opportunity to be recognized as the featured sponsor of one of the following signature event experiences: Signature Drink, Dessert Service, Music & Entertainment, Guest Gift Bags, or a segment of the Silent Auction. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
$2,500 – DOORWAY SPONSOR
As a Doorway Sponsor, your support helps open new opportunities for individuals to build confidence, strengthen connections, and participate more fully in the community. Your generosity will be recognized throughout the event with special recognition by the emcee and in pre-event marketing efforts as we celebrate the many ways VCS continues opening doors across our region.
$1,000 – PATHWAY SPONSOR
Pathway Sponsors help sustain the programs and services that encourage personal growth, daily living skills, employment opportunities, and community involvement. Your sponsorship reflects a shared commitment to helping individuals move forward with support, encouragement, and dignity.
$500 – DOORBELL SPONSOR
Be part of this year’s Opening Doors celebration and help demonstrate the power of local support. Doorbell Sponsors represent the neighbors, businesses, families, and friends who believe in creating welcoming communities where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are valued, included, and encouraged to thrive.
