Did you know that Village currently has 24 individuals in our supported living program? Each of these folks live in their own homes, most with house mates. Our staff provide the support they need to live successfully – and happily!
One of my favorite things to do is to visit and see what really goes on. And last week, it was a puzzle party. I walked into our Stanwood house and looked into the living room. It was filled with tables and people – and puzzles. Honestly, from the chatter, it seemed like they were having the most fun just being together.
I don’t know how many puzzles were completed or how many pieces ended up on the floor, but I loved seeing Village in action. I truly appreciate the staff that recognize the importance of working on puzzles, playing games, and enjoying each other’s company.
Now I want to go start a puzzle!
