Being so new to Village, I have to say I was overwhelmed with the generosity and the support at our September fundraising event. We called it “Rooted and Growing” because we wanted to recognize the roots Village has planted in this community for more than 60 years and we wanted to be clear that ours is an organization focused on the future.
The friends and staff who joined us at Stilly Brook Farm had a chance to learn more about ourprograms. It was so much fun to see staff sharing what they do every day and helping everyone learn how important our work is. And our donors came through!
Because of the generosity that evening, we have new resources to support our future. The event was tons of fun, and for that, I have to thank the 2025 Fundraising Committee: Nadine Fox, Carmen Angel, Kat Hart, Tami Wierman, Kris Mecko, and Suzanne Garrett. This group gave us those extra special touches and created an event that got us all talking.
Can’t wait for next year!
